Steve Bratton
Steve Bratton was appointed General Manager of the Board of Public Works in August 2025. He joined BPW in 2023, bringing with him extensive experience in public administration and finance. Prior to his tenure at BPW, Mr. Bratton served as County Administrator for Cherokee County and as Finance Director for the Cherokee County School District. Mr. Bratton holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina – Columbia. He and his wife Nichole enjoy traveling and spending quality time with their five children.
Bryant Fleming
Bryant leads the operations of the BPW Water Plant, ensuring clean and safe drinking water for the community through oversight of treatment processes and regulatory compliance.
Brad Wright
Brad oversees BPW’s electrical systems and infrastructure, supervising maintenance, safety, and expansion projects to ensure reliable power distribution for all customers.
Adam Ruppe
Adam manages BPW’s wastewater treatment operations, focusing on environmental compliance, system efficiency, and community health through reliable wastewater services.
Josh Patterson
Josh leads BPW’s water and sewer distribution team, overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of pipelines to provide consistent and reliable utility service across the system.
Adam Harris
Adam provides engineering expertise for BPW’s operational systems, supporting upgrades, technical projects, and system analysis to maintain and improve service reliability.
Diane Fowler
Diane directs BPW’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and strategic financial planning, ensuring the organization’s fiscal health and accountability.
Cody Brown
Cody oversees BPW's sourcing, bids, and contracts to secure cost-effective materials and services that meet policy, budget, and state procurement requirements.
Stacy Palmer
Stacy is BPW’s Customer Service Coordinator, leading the front-line team and ensuring every walk-in, call, and online request is handled quickly, accurately, and courteously.
Alison Lester
As BPW’s Billing Coordinator, Alison leads the daily billing process that turns meter data into clear, accurate customer statements. She verifies reads, applies rates and fees, processes adjustments, and reconciles payments, credits, and refunds.
Tyler Bagwell
Tyler oversees BPW’s technology systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, supporting innovation and secure operations across all departments and customer platforms.
